Would you like to improve your financial skills for everyday use in your own business or the organisation that you work for? Do you want to feel more comfortable and confident when presenting data, updating budgets and creating reports?
Multiply is fully funded for learners and are part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee, helping everyone gain skills for life such as numeracy.
If you’re aged 19 and over and don’t have maths GCSE at grade C, you can access our free business finance courses to build your confidence with numbers and gain a qualification.
Good numeracy skills may unlock job opportunities and lead to higher wages or for start up businesses and SMES, prepare you for understanding your accounts.
Through this course you will learn how to:
Create financial documents, including balance sheets and profit and loss
Manage cash flow in a workplace or business
Manage costing, pricing and breakeven point
Assess, process and present data
Who is the course for?
This course is for anyone from any background and stage in their life who wants to improve their business finance skills and confidence with numbers. These could include:
Those looking to start their own business
Anyone starting their career but has confidence issues around numbers
Those in marketing or creative roles who would like to increase their skill set
People who are looking to return to work but want to boost their CV skills
Administrators, support staff and entry level staff members who want to upskill

To enrol onto Multiply you must be over the age of 19 and not have a GCSE in maths higher than a C (or the equivalent).
This course is funded by the West of England Combined Authority and Skills for Life as part of Multiply. Therefore, you must live, run or work for a business in Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire or Bath and North East Somerset to be eligible.

Course format
Mulitply sessions are delivered online, over one or two days with flexible timings to fit around your schedule.
In addition to the sessions, you will also be provided with access to our e-learning platforms with resources and templates to help you create financial documents including budgets, start-up costing and cash flow forecasts.
